Hi, my name is Nathan Ng and I’m a Chiropractor in Burnaby, British Columbia. I attended the University of British Columbia where I graduated with a Bachelors of Human Kinetics. I achieved a Bachelors in Human Biological Sciences and Doctorate of Chiropractic from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. I am an advocate for treating the root cause of the problem instead of covering up the symptoms. My treatment techniques to address each person’s individual concerns include chiropractic adjustments, instrument assisted soft tissue massage, personalized rehab exercise, nutritional counseling, and postural retraining. I am a certified provider of Active Release Technique (A.R.T.®) soft tissue therapy, Rocktape Kinesiotape, and Activator. I have treated people of all ages ranging from 5 to 95. I have a special interest in sports injuries, but also excel at treating varying conditions including temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder and headaches. I strive to provide the most comprehensive care for my patients through education, lifestyle changes, and building body awareness to prevent future occurrences. I take pride in helping others take charge of their body and ultimately lead a healthier and happier life.
In 2014, I was part of a chiropractic volunteer team that went to Haiti and Dominican Republic. I treated up to 100 people a day and offered my services in varying places including the United Nations military base, an orphanage, schools, and public street markets. I took away valuable life skills and clinical skills from this rewarding experience. I have also offered my time and services in the local community as an event Chiropractor at Bonsor Recreation Complex for the King of the Courts Annual Squash Tournament and the BC Soccer Provincials.
I have always been surrounded by sports, whether it be as a player, coach, or referee. In my free time I enjoy playing volleyball, soccer, dodgeball, bouldering, snowboarding, and kayaking. I love to travel and try new foods from all around the world.
